Translated number won't accept a non-phone-number ...

G'day guys, I have been trying to connect VAPI with Telnyx following this documentation https://docs.vapi.ai/advanced/sip/telnyx And at this step Configure SIP invite Go to Numbers, edit the number you’ll be using Navigate to Voice settings Scroll down to find “Translated Number” Set this value to match your Vapi SIP URI You can get your Vapi SIP URI when you create a new SIP number through the Phone Numbers tab in the Vapi dashboard. The URI will look like: sip:@sip.vapi.ai This setting modifies the SIP Invite so invites are correctly routed to your Vapi SIP URI. I went to VAPI and set up a SIP (Phone Number > Create Phone Number > Free Vapi SIP) But the Translated number field only accept a phone number, not sip:caregpvapi@sip.vapi.ai, not 6615670c-26ed-427a-87c3-51ad8c554254 (the ID of that SIP). Could you help thanks a lot : )

It appears that the Telnyx "Translated Number" field is currently restricted to phone numbers, even though the Vapi documentation instructs you to enter your SIP URI (e.g.,
sip:your-unique-id@sip.vapi.ai
).
As a next step, I recommend reaching out to Telnyx support to confirm if SIP URIs are supported in this field or if there is an alternative method to route calls to your Vapi SIP endpoint, as required by the [Vapi integration guide](https://docs.vapi.ai/advanced/sip/telnyx#configure-sip-invite). This will help clarify if the limitation is temporary or if a different configuration is needed. Telnyx’s “Translated Number” field doesn’t accept full SIP URIs, so enter only the alphanumeric part of your Vapi SIP ID remove “sip:” and hyphens to route correctly..
