I'm trying to add a tool to a conversation node step inside a workflow and I can't find the option to add one. I have already added one yesterday which I remember there was a tools section on the right side but I'm not seeing it anymore. Someone in my community pointed out to me when I told him to add the tool in the node instead using tool nodes in between his conversational nodes.

Yeah but is that a workaround while it gets fixed or is the tool option in the node gone permanently?

update channel that removed this feature of attaching tools to conversation nodes. This function may have been experimental since there is already a tool node option, but the changelog may have more details on the reason it was removed.

Guys, for now, you can just export your workflow in JSON, add the tool IDs to the toolIds array in the node, and it will work. Hopefully, the VAPI team will bring back this UI tool soon.

That's a big issue. There is a big difference between letting an agent use a tool , a having to move out of the agent to use a tool. The flow is far from human-like and ads a lot of loop risk and stock-point. The changelog doesn't talk about that at all.
