When I go to Phone Numbers → Create Phone Number → Import Telnyx, I enter my correct Telnyx number and API key (verified and regenerated multiple times), but clicking “Import from Telnyx” always gives this error: Error in importing Telnyx Phone Number Incorrect Telnyx Credential. The credentials are definitely correct — I've double-checked and tested them in Telnyx directly. 2. SIP URI Issue – “Translated Number” Validation Fails Following your SIP integration instructions https://docs.vapi.ai/advanced/sip/telnyx, I generated a SIP URI like this: sip:vaidastest@sip.vapi.ai However, when I try to enter that into the “Translated Number” field under Voice Settings for my number in Telnyx, it returns an error: Must contain only letters and numbers; no spacing allowed There are no spaces in the URI, so it seems like either Telnyx has changed their validation or your docs are outdated and unclear. At this point, I’ve lost hope of getting my Telnyx number connected to Vapi. Would really appreciate some guidance or an update if there’s a workaround.

Is it possible to get support here? I've noticed that there are many unsolved messages from 2-3 weeks ago. It will be difficult to recommend Vapi AI to my client if there is no support available.

I have the same problem I tried to use telnyx import 1.) Used my API Key in the Field KEYXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX did not work 2.) Telnyx told me to use bearer KEYXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX did not work out (credentials do not match), so I wasn't able to use the API KEY 3.) So I follwed this alternative: https://docs.vapi.ai/advanced/sip/telnyx and wanted to use sip:thisismyvapikey@sip.vapi.ai in translated number but in Telnyx I am unable to insert this VAPIURI: sip:thisismyvapikey@sip.vapi.ai Error: Must contain only letters and numbers; no spacing allowed Can someone help me, both possibilites are not working My org ID is: fd741461-3371-4e60-b2b4-40c91beef8cd
