at least they should make it so that if the VAPI SIP is down the call will go to the fallback number

Hi pasamelo, If you are trying to identify the reason behind a terminated SIP call, you can refer to the list of specific SIP error codes included in our documentation. Some of these include

call.in-progress.error-sip-inbound-call-failed-to-connect

and various

call.in-progress.error-providerfault-outbound-sip

codes like

403-forbidden

407-proxy-authentication-required

503-service-unavailable

, and

480-temporarily-unavailable

SIP 487 Error

isn't really an error. It will occur when a call has been

CANCELED

at the source, namely, the call origin decided to abandon the call. This is a normal status code for un-answered calls.
