- Squad members are configured (7 assistants)
- Phone number points to Squad
- Receptionist has NO handoff tools configured
- UI "Destinations" section missing when adding handoff tools
- API calls failing with JSON syntax errors
Need Help:
Configure 6 handoff tools on receptionist (9255ba03-4f63-4a98-b379-ebfff786fbb7) with destinations:
1. Missoula Territory Specialist (6e4f32fc-667e-4fcc-9783-c73b00f6aafb)
2. Dillon Territory Specialist (d86fd068-15ca-4192-af6e-ec943855f163)

NEEDS 6 HANDOFF TOOLS WITH THESE DESTINATIONS:
1. Handoff Tool → Missoula Territory Specialist
- Assistant ID: 6e4f32fc-667e-4fcc-9783-c73b00f6aafb
- Description: "Missoula Territory Specialist"
2. Handoff Tool → Dillon Territory Specialist
- Assistant ID: d86fd068-15ca-4192-af6e-ec943855f163
- Description: "Dillon Territory Specialist"
3. Handoff Tool → Columbus Territory Specialist

11/19/2025, 6:37 PMTo configure a handoff destination, add another assistant to the squad then connect the circles together by dragging a line from one circle to the other circle.

11/19/2025, 11:03 PMThanks Kyle, but the UI method doesn't work - the destinations section is completely missing when I try to add handoff tools. That's why I requested API configuration in my original message.
Can someone on the Vapi team please configure the 6 handoff tools via API using the assistant IDs I provided? The receptionist needs these 6 handoff destinations configured:
1. Missoula Territory Specialist (ID: 6e4f32fc-667e-4fcc-9783-c73b00f6aafb)
2. Dillon Territory Specialist (ID: d86fd068-15ca-4192-af6e-ec943855f163)

11/21/2025, 9:52 PMThe handoff tool appears once you connect the circles. You can also click the +Add button to add a handoff tool to connect to an assistant. If its not working in your browser, try using chrome, safari, or firefox. Might work on brave too but haven't tested. Definitely works on safari
