I have successfully assigned an assistant to an extension registration in FreePBX (not as a trunk, but as an extension). Extension shows as registered and online. When I dial the extension, the agent picks up, answers questions, etc. Two way audio, everything is great. I created a transfer call tool so that the assistant could transfer calls, and in the logs, it does call the tool, but no transferring takes place. Has anyone got local extension to extension transferring from assistant in FreePBX?

That will not work ! FreePBX doesn't comply with the

REFER

message (used by cold transfer) and to do a warm transfer, you need to build the interconnect differently.

Any suggestions on the interconnect built differently? Would it be better through like the API/ARI
