Dear Vapi Team, I am reaching out to inquire about your pricing and the technical feasibility of a project I am currently developing. I am looking to build a workflow where a user can call a dedicated number, be greeted by an automated system, and then be asked a series of structured questions. Ideally, I would like the conversation to be recorded and the data sent directly to my webhook. I am currently a student working on this as a personal project and an initial idea. Because I have limited income sources at the moment, I am looking for a solution with minimal fees or perhaps a free tier for developers. Could you please let me know if your platform supports these requirements and what the most cost-effective way would be for me to get started? Thank you for your time and help.

Get started for free: You can create a free US phone number and attach an assistant to greet callers and ask structured questions using the Vapi dashboard. 1. Go to [dashboard.vapi.ai](https://dashboard.vapi.ai/) and sign up. 2. Click Phone NumbersCreate Phone Number (free for US use). 3. In the number's settings, select your assistant in the "Inbound Settings" dropdown. This will let you test your project with minimal cost. You can add recording and webhook features after your basic setup is working. Hi @lyf_101, You can create a new Vapi account and you will be provided with $10 worth of credits for you to test out all the features. Vapi also provides free US based phone numbers for both inbound and outbound calls (note that, free numbers cant do campaigns and has daily call limits). You can send the call recording to your webhook by adding server messages to your assistant as well. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help.

To provide some background on my project: I am developing a prototype that requires a number anyone can call. The system should greet the caller, ask a series of structured questions, and then send the call recordings or responses to my webhook. Since this is currently in the prototype phase, I am looking for a way to implement this either for free or at a minimal cost. And i am here in India so is there any options for Indian number or so.. Could you please advise on how I can achieve this setup within these constraints?

Hi @lyf_101, You can have inbound calls and have an LLM prompted to ask series of structured questions and then recording and the transcripts can be transported to your webhook by setting up Vapi server messages (https://docs.vapi.ai/server-url/events). But unfortunately, Vapi does not provide any free indian numbers. Vapi only provides US based numbers for free. If you require indian numbers, you have to import it using any phone number providers (like Twilio) or by SIP trunking.
