To use a Free Vapi number for inbound calls: 1. Go to the “Phone Numbers” tab in your Vapi dashboard. 2. Click “Create a Phone Number” and enter your desired US area code. 3. Assign the number to your assistant in the inbound settings. Example:

2. Assign assistant → "Alex"
3. Call the number to interact with your assistant!

Hi, You can create a new Vapi account and you will be provided with $10 worth of credits for you to test out all the features. Vapi also provides free US based phone numbers for both inbound and outbound calls (note that, free numbers cant do campaigns and has daily call limits).
