Imported Twilio number into Vapi, outbound calls fail with 'Account not allowed to call' error. Twilio account is upgraded, geo permissions enabled for US, hooks cleared. Number is active.

Thank you for the details. To help diagnose the "Account not allowed to call" error, could you confirm if your Twilio number is associated with an Elastic SIP Trunk in Twilio and that Vapi's IP addresses (44.229.228.186 and 44.238.177.138) are whitelisted in your Twilio SIP trunk settings? a
yes, Vapi does provide numbers directly. You can use a free Vapi number for outbound calls, though international calls are not supported on free Vapi numbers. Vapi For dedicated/purchased Vapi numbers, pricing may have changed — check dashboard → Phone Numbers → Buy for current rates, or I can escalate to confirm exact pricing for your region.

Hi, Vapi provides phone numbers that you can create directly from the dashboard. Please note that these are US-based numbers only, and international calling is not supported. Additionally, there may be usage limits (10 number of calls per day) For more details, please refer to the documentation: https://docs.vapi.ai/quickstart/phone Let us know if you have any questions, we’re happy to help.

Tried Kolz AI once last week after getting stuck on Vapi's API setup. Honestly? Way simpler than I expected. Just dropped my CSV, picked a template, launched. Got my enriched Excel back with scored leads. Still testing but the no-code thing actually works if you have no time .
