Yeah, I’ve had solid Hebrew outbound call performance on Vapi using Deepgram for STT and ElevenLabs/Cartesia for TTS. Most of the latency improvements came from tuning endpointing and interruption handling properly for Hebrew speech patterns rather than just switching providers. Okay for that slightly more aggressive than English worked better for us, especially lower end-of-speech delay and faster interruption handling. Hebrew callers tend to pause differently, so waiting too long made conversations feel robotic. For TTS, Cartesia felt fastest in terms of latency, while ElevenLabs sounded a bit more natural overall depending on the voice. For pure outbound performance and responsiveness though, Cartesia was very solid.
