"Over Billing Limit" - Neither Twilio or Vapi are ...
# support

Title explains it. When I call the phone number of the assistant, it says I'm "over billing limit". Before that btw, Twilio gives a disclaimer that I'm on its free trial, and then lets me move onto talking to the assistant. The "over billing limit" voice (the voice that says that) is the same as the voice that gives the Twilio disclaimer, so maybe the issue on the Twilio side?

@Aryan N It sounds like you might have reached the spending limit on your Twilio trial account, which is why you're receiving the message about being "over billing limit." Twilio provides a certain amount of free credit for trial accounts, and once you've used that up, you'll need to upgrade to a paid account to continue using their services. To resolve this issue, you should log in to your Twilio account and check your usage to confirm if you've exceeded the trial credit. If you have, you'll need to add a payment method and choose a pricing plan that suits your needs to continue using Twilio's services without interruption. If you believe there's been a mistake or if you need further assistance with your Twilio account, it would be best to contact Twilio's support directly. They can provide more detailed information about your account status and guide you through any necessary steps. If you need help with anything else or have more questions about the VAPI, feel free to ask!

I have not. I have money in my trial account

@Aryan N If you're certain that you have not exceeded the spending limit on your Twilio trial account and you still have credit available, then the issue might be related to a different billing or account limitation. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue: 1. **Check Account Settings**: Log in to your Twilio account and review your account settings to ensure there are no restrictions or alerts that might be causing the issue. 2. **Review Usage and Billing**: Look at the usage and billing section to confirm that you indeed have remaining trial credit and that there are no unexpected charges. 3. **Check Twilio's Status**: Sometimes, service disruptions can cause unexpected messages. Check Twilio's status page to see if there are any ongoing issues that might be affecting your service. 4. **Contact Twilio Support**: If everything seems in order on your end, the best course of action would be to reach out to Twilio's support team. They can provide specific information about your account and help resolve any issues related to billing or service limitations. If you need further assistance or have more questions, please let me know, and I'll do my best to help you out!

If billing limit is touched you won’t be able to make calls from both sides. Also to use twilio on trial account you have to use verified numbers with twilio.
Can you share call id.
a
Number is verified. No call is created when I talk to the assistant, so there is no call_id. Thank you Shubham.
s
You have said assistant speaks, then how>?
a
No, the assistant doesn't speak. I meant the call immediately ends. Also, when I use the web call feature, it lets me talk to the assistant. Its just when I try to call it.
s
Your trying to make call to unverified numbers from your twilio trial account.
a
No no, I'm calling my inbound assistant through the account.
@shubham bajaj
s
still on trial account you can't make calls from unverified numbers.
