"phone number not found"

When I call one of my numbers, it says "phone number not found". In the dashboard, that phone number is gone, and instead of displaying it, it displays a duplicate of another phone number that I have. Both were bought through VAPI. So somehow one of my numbers is go@ne from the UI and isn't functional anymore, while showing me a duplicate. I know the phone Ids associated with the three numbers. I can send via DM.

Hey @sticker101 for the shared orgId, we have the following list of numbers available to us and if you can narrow down the particular number ID I can try to look for logs. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1348403505270096025/1349003805366419526/Screenshot_2025-03-11_at_6.24.41_PM.png?ex=67d18532&is=67d033b2&hm=d9a521e49ca27f3a00b5024a1e1159e21c77ca2264ecf42644d36cffda0c486b&

Yeah, the one that's a duplicate. It's supposed to be 19783572553, 19784945714, 18667394421, and 1 857 380 0794
so, 19784945714 is missing. It has the wrong Phone Id for the duplicate. 545c86e9-164a-46db-ad4f-ffd75584e5da should = 19784945714
??

Is this how long I'd have to wait if this was a client's phone number?
Fortunately it's not, but in the future, it definitely could be.

@Stickler101 Sorry for the late response.
@Stickler101 I can delete the duplicate number you mentioned but cannot allot you any if this works for you then you can try purchase another number.
let me know what works for you apart from getting the mentoned number.

Has that ever happened before? What happened to the number? Like, do you know what happened? I'm thinking it's preventable by getting the numbers through Twilio and importing them? Then at least if there is a mess up, it can be re-imported? I can't have numbers in the future suddenly stop working and become unusable.

I completely understand your concern about reliability, especially when thinking about client numbers. Let me assure you that this is not a common occurrence and is primarily a one time issue rather than actual data loss. As I mentioned, I can delete the duplicate and help you purchase a new number. If you'd prefer the additional security of purchasing through Twilio and importing (which is a great approach for mission-critical numbers), we fully support that too. For your peace of mind, feel free to ping me directly if you ever encounter any issues like this in the future. I'll personally ensure they get resolved quickly.
s
Yes, please delete the duplicate, and I'll just make sure that important numbers for clients are bought through Twilio for now. Thanks.

@stickler101 I have removed one of your duplicate number, can you confirm?
s
Yes, thanks.
