Error updating assistant — knowledgeBase.model pro...

Hey team — running into a bug with the new agent builder UI. Every time I update the Knowledge Base tab on any assistant and try to publish, I get this error: "model.each value in knowledgeBase.property model should not exist" The new agent builder is automatically injecting "model": "gemini-2.5-flash" and "provider": "google" into the knowledgeBase block behind the scenes when files are added or changed via the KB tab. But the API rejects model as an invalid field on publish. Steps to reproduce: Open any assistant in the new agent builder Go to the Knowledge Base tab and add or modify files Hit Publish → error fires every time Workaround I found: Manually remove "model": "gemini-2.5-flash" from the knowledgeBase block in the JSON editor before publishing — works after that, but have to do it every single time the KB tab is touched. Affects all assistants, not just one. Looks like a frontend issue where the UI is writing a field the API doesn't accept. Hi, As checked we are getting this error in Daily channel. Please change your org channel to Weekly from the Org Settings page in the dashboard and try again. Thank you. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1507872431958654996/1508130873915080825/image.png?ex=6a146bd4&is=6a131a54&hm=8d0cd02f32c4108ab2b7fd91b285803f3154d7b9121f6570389537dabed7cc8d&

I'm having the same issue as OP. Is this a known bug and changing the channel from daily to weekly just a workaround or is that the solution?

Hi JTrannVA, Using the weekly channel is the preferred solution, as it’s generally more reliable and stable for these types of updates and deployments. It also helps avoid issues that can sometimes occur on other release channels while changes are still rolling out.
